Willis Martin, Founder CEO


Willis Martin is a retired U.S. Army veteran and the founder of 1ove, a nonprofit organization based in Omaha, Nebraska. With a deep commitment to service and community empowerment, Martin established 1ove to address critical social challenges and foster positive change within underserved populations. His military background instilled in him values of discipline, leadership, and a profound sense of duty, which he now channels into his philanthropic endeavors.

Residing in Omaha, Martin remains actively involved in local initiatives, leveraging his experience and passion to uplift and support those in need. Through 1ove, he continues to make a meaningful impact, embodying the principles of compassion, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the betterment of his community.


Rashadd Strongs, Chief Financial Officer (Volunteer)

B.A. in Business Management | A.A. in Mathematics
With a strong foundation in business and analytical thinking, Rashaad Strongs brings both strategic insight and lived experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer at 1ove Non-Profit.

His professional journey began at the age of 16 with his first job at McDonald’s. Through dedication and exceptional leadership, Rashaad rose through the ranks to become the General Manager of the 40th and Dodge location by age 22 making him the youngest and only Black individual in Nebraska to achieve that position at the time. While managing full-time operations, he simultaneously earned an Associate degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

The organization stands as a testament to their shared commitment to community empowerment, resilience, and honoring those who came before."

Teshar Roque, Chief Operating Officer (Volunteer)

As Chief Operating Officer of 1OVE Nonprofit, Tesharr Roque exemplifies a commitment to hands-on learning and community-driven initiatives. A former student at Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska, he earned recognition for his achievements in journalism and trade education. His compelling personal story and dedication to amplifying the voices of others have been highlighted in multiple media outlets.

Tesharr’s experience includes serving as a student reporter and production team leader, where he created an impactful feature for PBS Student Reporting Labs titled "I Slept in the Stairs Because I Didn’t Want to Go Home". 

In his role as COO, Tesharr draws on his diverse background and leadership experience to advance the mission of 1OVE Nonprofit. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, education, and community engagement that empowers individuals to achieve lasting impact.

Antoine, Part-Time (Volunteer)

Antoine Bushnell, a proud graduate of Superior High School in Superior, Nebraska, found his passion for care and compassion on a farm, where he learned to nurture animals. After experiencing various roles in Omaha, Antoine faced challenges with addiction, incarceration, and homelessness. However, through the support of 1ove Nonprofit, he discovered a path to healing and self-discovery. Now, Antoine dedicates his time to volunteering with 1ove, paying forward the help, hope, and humanity that transformed his life.

Cullen Lamont Holmes, (Volunteer)

Cullen Lamont Holmes, a proud graduate of South High School Class of 1990 and lifelong Packers fan, has spent his life dedicated to community, family, and fostering togetherness. Early in his life, he immersed himself in community building and celebrating African American pride. Later, his focus shifted to his family, nurturing relationships with his wife and creating a foundation of love and support.

Cullen has a deep passion for giving back and actively volunteers with 1OVE Nonprofit, where he supports community initiatives and helps create opportunities for growth and connection. Over time, he has worked to strengthen community alliances and provide assistance, always striving to create environments where people feel safe, valued, and heard. He encourages diversity, well-being, and positivity while highlighting the needs of the community and uplifting others. He challenges stereotypes and preconceived notions placed upon him and his peers, demonstrating that assumptions rarely reflect the full truth.
